Coleman Connolly Award

This award honors a thoracic surgery resident for exemplary efforts in mentoring, teaching, and fostering a desire to learn. It is in memory of Dr. Coleman Connolly, a longtime clinical associate professor in the Department of Surgery who died in 1996 after many years in private practice. A 1942 graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School, Connolly served on its board of admissions.
